Lintels

Πρέκια απο φυσικά πετρώματα

These are cut and chiseled solid natural stone and marble pieces which are used either for decorative purposes, significantly contributing to the end aesthetic result, or for static purposes in the sense that they can contain the weight of other stone wall claddings above doors or windows.

They are single pieces of natural stone which are shaped so as to be placed as beams on the upper sides of windows, entrances and fireplaces. The thickness of lintels varies from 5cm to 25cm. The face (front part) is made by cutting the stone the “easy way” or by forging it.

Lintels have played an age long role in the construction of buildings since they are the unique and most suitable stone beams, combining durability, beauty and easy application.
